Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Make sure you put enough foil to completely wrap the salmon later on.
In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, butter, garlic, salt and pepper, and your other spices. Whisk until everything is thoroughly mixed.
Stick your salmon pieces, skin down, on the baking sheet. Drizzle the butter mixture onto your fish.
As soon as your salmon is coated, fold up the aluminum foil on all sides. You’ll want to make sure your fish is completely sealed within the foil as this prevents the butter mixture from leaking.
Stick your salmon in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the flesh easily flakes with a fork.
