Avocados make everything better, including hummus. This unique and delicious recipe adds a guacamole twist to everyone's favorite pita dip. To make it, you'll need a 16-ounce can of garbanzo beans, 1 1/2 teaspoons of tahini, the juice from 1/2 a lemon, 2 tablespoons of sour cream, 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil, 3 crushed garlic cloves, and 1 ripe avocado.
Place all the ingredients into a food processor and puree until it's smooth. Season the hummus to taste with salt, pepper, and more lemon juice. Transfer the hummus to a container and keep it in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
