Are you familiar with Yellow No 6 dye? How about "black pepper flavor"? Yeah, we weren't either, but apparently we've been eating lots of them and won't be anymore! Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, both subsidiaries of Yum! Brands, are making substantial changes to their menus, eliminating a host of artificial ingredients. Taco Bell's changes will reportedly affect as much as 95 percent of their menu!

These changes come in the midst of a push for healthier and more sustainable food, and also include eventually discontinuing use of high-fructose corn syrup and palm oil. Will it actually make Taco Bell good for you? We have our doubts, but getting rid of "black pepper flavor" in favor of actual black pepper is a decent start at least.
