Do you love bacon as much as you love to travel? Well strap in, because we're about to take you on a tour of the best restaurants in the United States that feature everyone's favorite ingredient: BACON!
Crown Candy Kitchen – St. Louis, MO

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: "Heart-Stopping BLT." You know a bacon dish is great when its name has some (only partially kidding) reference to death. The Heart-Stopping BLT is one of St. Louis’ best kept secrets, but it’s far and away the best BLT in the country. Served on thick Texas toast and a more-than-generous portion (one pound!) of your favorite pork product, you’ll have trouble just fitting your mouth around this monstrous sandwich.
Crif Dogs – New York City, NY

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: The "Spicy Red Neck". While several of the dogs at Crif Dogs are bacon wrapped — as all great dogs should be — we particularly like the spicy-savory combo of bacon, chili, cole slaw and jalapeños.
BBQ Addicts – Kansas City, MO

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: The "Bacon Explosion." It’s comprised of a full pound of barbecued sausage, stuffed with one pound of bacon crumbles, and wrapped in yet another pound of basket weaved bacon strips. BBQ Addicts recommends that The Bacon Explosion be divided up into 10-12 servings, but we won’t judge if you decide to go it alone.
Houston Rodeo – Houston, TX

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: "bacon cotton candy." No one in their right mind would have ever thought that bacon, of all foods, would make a great cotton candy flavor. But Texas did, and it turns out to be an amazing treat. Combining the salty and smoky taste you’ve come to love from bacon with the sweet sugary finish of cotton candy, it's one dish you seriously have to taste for yourself.
BarBacon – New York City, NY

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: The "Bacon Loves Lobster Roll." Really, it’s hard to believe that this hasn’t happened before (if it has, let us know in the comments). Lobster might as well be the bacon of the sea, and bacon needs no further introduction. One bite and you will achieve bacon nirvana for the rest of the night.
Bacon Bacon – San Francisco, CA

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: The "Bacon Bouquet." It’s bacon. In a bouquet. What else do you want? Bacon Bacon made its start as a humble food truck, but now has a legitimate brick and mortar cafe in which to appease your insatiable lust for bacon. Don’t worry though, the food trucks are still up and running, so you can be rest assured you'll get your piggy on the go if the need arises.
Green Goddess – Atlanta, GA

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: The "Notorious Bacon Sundae." We understand your skepticism. “Green Goddess” doesn’t exactly scream “bacon paradise,” but it’s definitely worth a stop if only for a bite of The Notorious Bacon Sundae. Made with coffee pecan brittle ice cream, bacon caramel, and topped with applewood smoked bacon, few desserts are more delicious, or more American.
The Patterson House – Nashville, TN

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: "Bacon Old Fashioned." Do you suffer from being occasionally stuffed full of bacon, but still need more of that savory flavor in your life? Head to one of Nashville’s favorite pubs, The Patterson House, for one of their infamous Bacon Old Fashioned cocktails. Made with Benton’s bacon
PYT – Philadelphia, PA

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: "Bacon Shell Fish Taco." This is literally the best surf n’ turf interpretation we’ve seen anywhere. Fresh fried cod and house made slaw all stuffed inside a crispy, crunchy taco shell made entirely of (you guessed it) thick juicy bacon! We’re not sure how they get the bacon in the shape of a taco shell, but frankly we don’t care. So long as they keep churning out this delicious dish, PYT has got our business for life.
Cousin’s Grubhouse – Philadelphia, PA

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: "Heart Attack Dog." It’s got all the usual suspects: a deep fried dog wrapped in bacon and generous amounts of both chili and melted cheddar cheese. We dare you to leave this restaurant hungry.
Sabuku – San Diego, CA

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: "Bacon Your Pardon." Yes, we’re sending you to a sushi joint in San Diego for bacon. Bear with us. Sushi is good, and bacon is good. So why hasn’t anybody ever put bacon inside of sushi? There’s no good excuse, but at least Sabuku got it right with their Bacon Your Pardon roll featuring spicy crab, bacon, glazed bacon sauce, and tempura crunchies. If you’ve never tried sushi before, this would be a great segue for you, although anything off Sabuku’s “Beggin’ For Bacon” menu is a surefire hit.
Borgne – New Orleans, LA

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: "Bacon Duck Poppers." Surely you’ve heard of Jalapeno poppers. You can order those at almost any dive bar in America. Why not elevate your tastes a bit while satisfying your bacon obsession with some Bacon Duck Poppers though? They’re everything you’d expect in a popper (plus duck!) and they’re the perfect snack for the bacon enthusiast who wants a lighter bacon dish.
Diesel – Atlanta, GA

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: Try the "Death Muffin," Diesel’s version of an english muffin topped with a bacon weave, 2lbs of Jimmy Dean sausage, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and a poached egg. We want to promise that you won’t actually die after eating this 1,500 calorie monstrosity but, well, we (legally) can’t.
Saloon On Calhoun With Bacon – Brookville, WI

Suggested for the bacon enthusiast: "Pork Wings." The motto around this restaurant is that EVERYTHING is better with bacon. Stop in for bacon happy-hour between 4-7 pm daily and pig out on ALL YOU CAN EAT BACON. You should absolutely save room for some of the saloon’s famous pork wings though. Pork loin strips rubbed with house seasoning and wrapped in bacon will make you forget that chickens ever had wings.
