Plug the Dash Mini Waffle Maker in. Allow the waffle iron to warm. When the light goes off, it is ready for use.
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and shredded cheese.
Sprinkle a little bit of shredded cheese in the waffle iron (to create crisper edges) and then proceed to spoon half of the batter into the waffle maker, and close the top.
Cook the chaffle for 3 minutes. Do not open the waffle maker to check on the chaffle or you will risk tearing it.
Carefully remove the chaffle to a plate. The chaffle will feel soft but will become crisp as it cools.
Follow the same steps to make the second chaffle. Enjoy your chaffle as is or use to make a sandwich.
