Amazon has become an important part of daily life for many of us—especially during the past year. Jeff Bezos' company has created a world where you can purchase just about anything you can think of and have it delivered to your front door in just a matter of days. Sometimes, that Amazon package can arrive in just a few hours.
In 2021, we all know about the basics of Amazon shopping. Those one-click orders can make every day feel like Christmas morning. But, are you taking advantage of all Amazon's services?
If you've avoided an Amazon Prime membership—which costs $119 per year—you do have the option of trying it for free for an entire month. As everyone who doesn't live under a rock knows, Amazon Prime memberships feature unlimited free two-day shipping.
You can also instantly watch thousands of movies and TV episodes on Amazon Prime Video, get ad-free access to over a million songs and hundreds of playlists and borrow Kindle books.
With Prime Discounted Monthly Offering, qualifying customers in select US government assistance programs (including SNAP, WIC, and TANF) can enjoy the benefits of Amazon Prime at almost 50% off the regular monthly price (just $5.99/month!).
College students also enjoy a discount on Prime memberships, paying just $6.49/month instead of the full price of $12.99/month. Sign up for a free six-month trial to enjoy all of the benefits of Prime, plus exclusive offers for students, like the tutor software Course Hero.
Enterprise or small business owners can get even more benefits by ordering through Amazon by setting up a free Amazon Business Account. Whether you're in a commercial, education, government, healthcare, nonprofit, or financial industry, an Amazon Business Account makes procurement a breeze. Load up on office supplies, shop IT products, stock up the breakroom, and more. Sellers, Amazon Business can help you reach new buyers in order to grow your B2B sales.
If you're an avid reader, Kindle Unlimited is for you. Get unlimited access to more than one million ebooks and thousands of audiobooks. After the 30 day free trial, sign up for six, 12, or 24 months. You can also buy a plan for the bibliophile in your life.
What's better than someone reading to you? Give the gift of Audible. Available in one, three, six, and 12-month membership options, Audible memberships give you access to the world's largest selection of digital audiobooks. Audible Premium Plus gives you two "free" audiobooks a month. In reality, you're paying $15/month, but that's less than two books would actually cost!
Our faves are read by the authors, like Michelle Obama's memoir, Becoming, which is a number one New York Times best-seller. Listen to professionally-narrated audiobooks from multiple genres anytime and anywher—while cleaning, in the car, or while you're working out.

Amazon is getting into the grocery business, going way beyond pantry items to include product. AmazonFresh is only available in certain areas right now. If you happen to live in Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, or DC, you can take advantage of AmazonFresh. With this grocery subscription service, Prime members pay $14.99/month for on-demand same-day and next-day grocery delivery, including produce, meat, and dairy. Deliveries are free for orders over $35, otherwise, the fee is $9.99. EBT cardholders can not only use their cards to buy food, but they can enjoy this service for no monthly fee!
Amazon's Prime Now service is available to all Prime members with no extra subscription needed. This service delivers Whole Foods Market groceries from the store to your door, and it's free for two-hour delivery on orders over $35. Otherwise, fees begin at $4.99. Delivery is available in one and two-hour windows in 88 metro areas across the US, including LA, New York, Portland, San Diego, Chicago, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Dallas/Fort Worth, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Austin, Sacramento, Denver, Atlanta, and Phoenix.
It works a lot like Instacart, where someone will do your in-store shopping for you and then drop it off on your doorstep. Unlike AmazonFresh, which comes from Amazon distribution centers, this service is sourced from nearby Whole Foods stores.
This Amazon service offers "low-priced grocery and household essentials in everyday sizes" to Prime members. Prime Pantry is included in Prime memberships, and it is free for orders over $35. For orders less than that, the delivery fee is $5.99.

Shelf-stable products like snacks, cereal, office supplies, and cleaning products are available with this service. Prime Pantry also offers exclusive coupons and deals, but it doesn't offer fresh groceries.
