Nespresso has a variety of machines which are separated into their VertuoLine and OriginalLine. The shape of the capsules are different for both lines, so be sure to double check the capsules you purchase are compatible with your machine. All of the products in our review work with OriginalLine machines.
Quantity
Consider the amount of coffee in each package. If you haven’t tried many of the flavors or intensities offered by the brand, you may want to order in smaller quantities to make sure you like all of the offerings. If you are open to experiment, look for a package with a wide range of coffee styles to choose from.
Flavor and Intensity
Depending on your preference, you may want a certain type of coffee drink at different times of the day. Often times people may prefer something strong and bold in the morning, but opt for something lighter or even decaf in the middle of the day or at night. Consider also if you have having a party of guests over that may have different coffee preferences.
Sustainability
Nespresso capsules made of aluminum are recyclable but will require you to send the used capsules to the manufacturer and will require a special bag to do so.
