It may be hard to believe since we all spent spring isolated, but summer is almost officially here! During our quarantine, the OOLA Editors have been daydreaming about days spent lounging by the pool, cocktail in hand. It's great to dream, right? In reality, we'll be spending that lounge time chasing our kids around, so we've compiled our favorite MOM swimsuits of 2020 to keep you fashionable and functional.
Brittany: I absolutely adore Boden's swimwear. I love their modest preppy style and high-quality material. I found that most of their one-piece swimsuits have wonderful support in both the tummy and chest area, and are very slimming. They're great mom swimsuits, without looking like a "mom swimsuit".
Ellen: I'm obsessed with Summersalt swimwear! I own five of their suits, and love the fit of all of them. They are all under $100, come in many styles, and the best part is they hold up really well. My absolute favorite is The Plunge in black.
Allison: I'm a bit of a bargain shopper, so I love finding a site where I can buy a few swimsuits without breaking the bank. This ruffle one-piece is my favorite for hanging at the neighborhood pool with the kids because it's cute and flattering, while staying in all the right places when I'm playing with the kiddos. Note: ZAFUL shipping times are awful, so make sure you plan ahead of time. Their clothes' quality is hit or miss, but I have had great luck with their swimwear.
Jordan: I'm a big fan of modest one piece swimsuits and two years ago I bought a red Betticoo crisscross one piece bathing because it gave me major Baywatch vibes. I loved the way it fit so much that I bought it again in black last summer.
Nicole: As a mom of 2 little kids, I usually look for something functional and with coverage, knowing I will be chasing children around the pool. But I don't want my suit to be completely boring, so I try to find a fun print or unique cut. I have been eyeing this red and white seersucker suit from J.Crew.
This one-shoulder suit is a fun way to wear a one-piece and still look trendy and cute.
Protecting the skin on your chest is just as important as the skin on your face. Turns out high neck swimwear is in this season, so protect your chest while looking stylish this summer.
The fully adjustable straps mean you can rock this beauty as a bandeau, halter, straight straps or cross back.
