Mystery mush entrees, mystery mush desserts and a solitary roll next to a mound of canned corn — teens are tweeting photos of these unappetizing school lunches under the hashtag #thanksmichelleobama.
Pea Noodle Mush
Michelle Obama clearly practices what she preaches. While Alaina Kuper enjoys pea noodle mush, Michelle noms on chocolate covered lollipops.
New school food rules set by Congress require more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains in school cafeterias. I can’t tell if this is a fruit, vegetable, whole grain, or a mixture of everything. Can you?
Lunch or Snack
In July, Obama said “I will fight until the bitter end to make sure that every kid in this country continues to have the best nutrition that they can have.” Three chicken nuggets might be semi nutritious, but it definitely won’t fill up a high school student.
The USDA guidelines include limits on calories, fat, sugar, and sodium for all food and drinks sold during the school day for 100,000 schools across the country. Jack can’t take these guidelines. Michelle Obama is single-handedly ruining his life.
Jared wouldn’t feed this mystery mush to his dog, yet Michelle Obama is content with feeding it to children. I wonder if she would feed this to her own children.
The first lady has become the symbol of healthier school meals as she pushed for healthier standards to combat childhood obesity. The children in these schools see her as the symbol for not knowing what gross thing will be served next.
Michelle Obama screams in terror at what she is doing to American children.
Drinking expired milk won’t make children healthier. Katelynn goes as far as thinking she might die from her disgusting lunch.
Many schools have struggled to get kids to eat the foods, and some have lost money. If my “orange chicken” looked like this, I’d struggle to eat it too.
I bet if Obama had to eat Mackenzie’s lunch she wouldn’t be gorging her face.
The ink is made of vegetables. Obama has a couple of tricks up her sleeve to make children eat healthier.
Thanks For Misery
Michelle Obama gets a sticker for making sure children are healthier and happier… not.
