  • 19 Irresistible Ways To Incorporate Oreos Into Your Favorite Dessert

    by Oola Team

Have you ever stopped and thought to yourself, "Hmm, my dessert is OK but something is missing?" That's probably because there aren't enough Oreos in your dessert. Try some of these ideas to help solve that problem; they're Oreo-gasmic.

    Red Velvet Oreo Truffle Cake

This cake is very simple. You make an Oreo filling by mixing the cookies with cream cheese, then layer that with red velvet cake. Pour a fudge icing over the top and sprinkle with chocolate chips for a nice finish.

    Oreo Fudge Brownies

With this rich-looking treat, you make a custom brownie batter by adding ice cream and chocolate chips. Pour a layer of batter in the dish, place Oreos on top of that layer, then pour the rest of the batter on top. Bake it up and you’ll have an amazing treat.

    Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Cups

The Oreo here comes in three places: A small one on top, Oreo crumbles in the batter, and a big one at the bottom added before you pour in the batter.

    Oreo Cookie Butter

Oreo cookie butter is pretty simple: Put Oreos and coconut oil in a food processor, then blend. And then keep blending. It gets better after a nice long blend.

Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Oreo Pie

The title is a mouthful, but so is this treat. The Oreos come in the crust, which is literally ground up Oreo mixed with butter. Then add a caramel and a chocolate ganache layer, and you’ve got yourself a pie!

    Peanut Butter Oreo Popsicles

If a cold treat is what you’re looking for, then this should do the trick. Whip up some cream cheese, mix in some Oreo crumbles, pour the mixture into the mold of your choice, then sprinkle more crumbles on top.

    Oreo Puppy Chow

If you’ve ever made puppy chow before, then you know how potentially delicious this snack is. After coating your Chex in chocolate, instead of peanut butter or just plain powdered sugar, you add crushed Oreos to the powder.

    M&M Oreo Cookie

This recipe is based on a no-bake blondie recipe found on averiecooks.com. To mix it up, simply add crushed Oreos and M&Ms to your liking.

    Chocolate Oreo Cake

This is a chocolate cake layered with Oreo icing. And when we say Oreo icing, we mean it is packed full of delicious Oreo flavor. If you’re doing it right, the cake should take almost an entire package of Oreos for the icing.

    Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you’ve baked chocolate chip cookies, then making these is easy. Just place one ball of cookie dough down, smash it with a double stuffed Oreo, then put another ball of cookie dough on top! Make sure you’re not using a very runny type of cookie dough, though, or you’ll end up with a flat cookie and and Oreo shaped mound in the center.

    Oreo Dirt Cake Trifle

This recipe is pretty easy as well. Make a sweet vanilla pudding of your choice, and then layer that with crushed Oreos.

    Oreo Macaroons w/ Icing Filling

Macaroons are no easy task, so you’ll need to be precise, but the twist here is that the macaroons are made with black dye and ground Oreos, AND the icing is liberally filled with Oreo crumbs.

    Baked “Deep Fried” Oreos

If there were ever a way to make Oreos any more unhealthy, this is it. However, these are super easy to make: Use store-bought pastries (think golden-brown oven rolls), wrap them around an Oreo and bake. Cover them in powdered sugar before serving.

    Oreo Peanut Butter Brownie Cakes

These are exactly what they look like. Oreo, with peanut butter on top, with Oreo on top, with peanut butter on top, put in a cupcake mold and brownie batter covering that all up!

    Cookies and Cream Hot Chocolate

Hot chocolate is amazing, so you may never have thought to yourself, “How can I make this better?” But it turns out, you can make it better by adding ground up Oreos to the hot milk, and then crumbling up some more Oreos to put on top of the whipped cream.

    No-Bake Chocolate Oreo Tart

The specialty here is that the crust is a combination of finely ground Oreos mixed with butter, and the filling is a dark chocolate cream. Decorate with more chocolate and Oreos, and you have yourself a real treat.

    Cookies and Cream Rice Krispies

We’ve all been searching for a way to make Rice Krispie Treats better ever since the days of high-school bake sales. Well, this is one of those ways. Simply mix in Oreos before encasing the Rice Krispies in sugar, and then add more on top when you’re done.

    Cookie Dough Stuffed Oreos

Your years of training to open an Oreo without disturbing the icing will finally pay off! Stuff a chocolate chip cookie dough ball under the top and smash it back down carefully, then dip that bad boy in chocolate. Definite contender for “best treat ever” right here.
