See ya Pumpkin Spice Latte! The Toasted Graham Latte, inspired by the taste of leftover cereal milk, is sure to be your new Starbucks fall pick.
In a recent press release, Starbucks R&D manager, Yoke Wong, admitted that she had noticed an unusual trend, stating “what I found to be quite popular in the U.S. is the taste of cereal milk, the delicious leftovers in your breakfast bowl”. Seeking to replicate this taste, Wong soaked some graham crackers in milk. Biting into the soaked cracker, Wong realized she had discovered Starbucks’ new latte flavor.
The best news about this delicious new beverage is that it has notably less calories, sugar, and fat than it’s cousin, Pumpkin Spice Latte. The Toasted Graham Latte manages to be healthier than the PSL while still being just as flavorful and sweet. Don’t believe us? Try it out for yourself.
