Wine and cheese is a classic pairing, but recently the dynamic duo was taken to an entirely new level.
Finlandia, a Finnish cheese brand, released “cheeseware” — a wine glass and a beer glass made entirely of cheese. The glass might literally be cheesy, but its creation is to celebrate Finland’s 100th anniversary of independence.
You could drink wine from glassware made of cheese for $5,000: https://t.co/ZP2467bs3S pic.twitter.com/ZFIchk8l8v

The glasses were only available December 6, the anniversary of Finland’s independence. According to an article by Food and Wine magazine, the collection consisted of an 8-ounce wine glass crafted from Gouda to pair with red wines and a 16-ounce beer glass to sip stouts or wheat beers. Each cheese glass was handcrafted and costs a whopping $5,000.
If you’re a cheesehead and missed out on this opportunity, don’t worry — there are always road trips to Wisconsin.
