If "you are what you eat," then you'll probably want to try eating more of these foods! All of the foods listed here bear a striking resemblance to the body part that they benefit health-wise. If you want to eat to target specific parts of your body, the following foods can do just that, in addition to looking exactly like what they provide nutrients for. Next time you need a snack, try any of these!

    Grapefruits / Breasts

Fruits such as the grapefruit are obviously round and resemble the shape of breasts. That’s not just a coincidence though! Grapefruit contains limonoids, which are known to help fight the development of cancer in the cells of human breasts.

    Avocados / Uterus

The avocado is shaped similarly to a uterus, which is fitting since the tasty food also benefits reproductive health. Avocados have a lot of folic acid in them, which has been proven to reduce the risk for cervical dysplasia. Eat up!

    Walnut / Brain

Walnuts and their oval, wrinkly shape definitely bring to mind the shape of one of the most vital human organs: the brain. Walnuts are the perfect type of “brain food,” as they have a lot of omega-3 fatty acids that help your brain function.

    Celery / Bones

Celery is shaped like bones and it’s an important coincidence: they contain silicon, which is part of the main source of bone strength. So, eat more ants on a log!

    Tomatoes / Heart

Tomatoes resemble your heart not just in color: the interior of a tomato has many little chambers, just as the structure of the heart shows. The lycopene in tomatoes has been proven to reduce the risk of heart disease in both men and women.

    Carrots / Eyes

The inside of a carrot closely mirrors the human eye, with lines in the center that even look like the pupil and iris. It’s a long disputed fact, but carrots really are good for your eye health. The vitamins and antioxidants in carrots can decrease your chances of vision loss as you age.

    Clams / Testicles

Good news for men: not only do clams look kind of like the male sex organ, but they’re also good for them. Clams are high in folic acid and zinc, which can have a major impact on the semen quality in men.

    Sweet potatoes / Pancreas

Sweet potatoes are delicious, and they can help out your pancreas while also uncannily looking like one. The potatoes are high in beta-carotene, which protects body tissue in places like the pancreas against damage from cancer or aging. Just another reason to chow down!

    Red wine / blood health

Obviously red wine resembles blood, but it’s also a good thing: red wine is full of antioxidants and polyphenols, which protects against blood-damaging things like LDL cholesterol. That can protect against heart disease! Red wine also has a thinning compound that can help reduce blood clots. Moral of the story: bottoms up!

    Ginger / stomach

You should stock up on ginger ale! Known for its anti-nausea effects, the herb also looks like the stomach organ. It makes sense, as the herb has been proven to help with prevention of nausea and vomiting.

    Olives / ovaries

The old wives’ tale that olives are good for women is true! It’s clinically proven that olives assist with the overall health and function of your reproductive system.

    Almonds / eyes

Almonds are very eye-shaped and are also rich with vitamin E, with is beneficial to eye health. There have also been studies that suggest that almonds help in reducing dark circles and sunken eyes. They’re the perfect treat!

    Kidney / beans

There’s a reason there’s a type of bean called kidney beans. They look the same and are also very helpful to the organ. Beans help heal and maintain kidney function while baring a striking resemblance!
