Wheel cakes aren’t a new trend, at least not over in Asia. It’s a popular street treat in Japan, China, and Taiwan. Now it’s taking the streets of London by storm courtesy of Wei Wei’s Wheel Cakes. Wheel cakes are made from batter that’s been cooked in a special pan that looks a lot like a waffle maker, without the honeycomb pattern. It’s then filled with adzuki bean paste, chocolate, custard, or fruit filling. Bon Appétit!
