Twitter is an amazing place where people all over the world can come together to share their views and ideas. Every once in awhile, an idea comes along on Twitter that is totally Earth-shattering with its genius and ingenuity. That’s certainly the case with what Twitter user @Pelicans, or Chandler, learned while quenching his thirst with a delicious Kool-Aid Burst. You know the kind, with the wax bottles and twist off top. The only downside to that delectable liquid was the fact that once you opened one, there was no saving some for later. Those twist off tops never went back on and putting it back in the fridge was always a gamble. Sooner or later, someone would come along, usually an unsuspecting parent or sibling, and spill it everywhere. But now, if you want to save some of that tasty nectar of the Gods for later, you totally can.

According to @Pelicans, all you have to do to preserve your favorite wax bottle juice is simple save the lid, flip it upside down, and insert the top into the drinking hole. It sounds a bit easier than it actually is. There’s a bit of a trick to getting the top to fit in the hole, but once you figure it out, it’s as if you’ve discovered a whole new world. Understandably, people are absolutely freaking out over this.

There’s one thing people on the internet run out of, and that’s an opinion. People on Twitter did what they always do and sounded off on the social media site. The reactions ranged, but most people were super enthused about this new drinking technique. Obviously, some people feel very strongly about this, as they do everything on the internet, so there may be a bit of language in the tweets.

Not everyone was in love with the idea, though. Some people were confused as to why there would even be a need to save some of the bottle for later, since they could usually down the whole thing in one gulp. Others took issue with how the technique worked and provided proof that it wasn’t as leak proof as the original poster made it out to be. Still others just shared the other random uses they got out of the apparently versatile top.

Whether it works completely, only works a little, or doesn’t work at all, this Kool-Aid saving technique is certainly one to keep in mind if you’re a fan of it. Even if you’re not a fan, it’s still a pretty cool party trick you can pull off. Actually, who are we kidding? Is there anyone in the world who’s NOT a fan of Kool-Aid?
