Apparently, people take their emojis very seriously. Recently, a discussion was started online pointing out the difference between Apple’s and Google’s burger topping placement on their emojis and people have some serious thoughts.
I think we need to have a discussion about how Google's burger emoji is placing the cheese underneath the burger, while Apple puts it on top pic.twitter.com/PgXmCkY3Yc— Thomas Baekdal (@baekdal) October 28, 2017
Obviously, cheese must be on top of meat. But lettuce must be insulated by the tomato – so both are in the wrong.— Tero Kuittinen (@teroterotero) October 28, 2017
lettuce under meat keeps the bottom bun from getting (as) soggy with meat juice.— Lycan Subscribe (@alex_insist) October 28, 2017
Going to be controversial here and say that lettuce needs to stay out of burgers. Awful wet, limp stuff. Ruins the burger.— Tits McGee (@Scientits) October 29, 2017
They're both wrong. Google's cheese is wrong, Apple's lettuce is wrong. The correct order, from bottom up, is burger – cheese – toppings pic.twitter.com/lF1AUu64ht— Mark Goodge 🎶 (@MarkGoodge) October 28, 2017
That's an unrealistic standard imposed by media. All burgers are beautiful.— Tanbin Siyam 🐱💻 (@potasiyam) October 28, 2017
Can some top chef give a definitive answer on how to rearrange the toppings, if limit ingredients to: bun, tomato, lettuce, cheese, burger? pic.twitter.com/oloT1OmvT6— Ronny™ (@rwieckardt) October 29, 2017
