Everyone, I’m going to need you to stop what you’re doing and listen to the best news: M&M chocolate spread is now a thing.
We haven’t been strangers to the world of delicious spreads. Nutella made its rounds literally decades ago, cookie butter changed the game by introducing what dreams are made of, and now we’re finally living in 2018.
The little jar is being sold at Asda for £2.79, which comes to about $3.91 USD.
News first spread (Eh? Eh?) on January 31 when Cosmopolitan UK wrote an article confirming that Mars said the spread was a go.
Oddly enough, the news means something else entirely to one Twitter user who was dreaming of this product in 2017. On February 26, 2017, Josh tweeted that it would be a game changer for a crispy M&M chocolate spread to make its way to shelves. Not even one year later and his influence made it all the way to the chocolate conglomerate.
Josh has since tweeted again, acknowledging his very obvious influence.
Let’s all take a page out of Josh’s book: don’t let your dreams be dreams. Take to Twitter, wait a little bit, and soon you the world will pat you on the back for welcoming a snack we don’t deserve.
