    How To Make A Fresh Mango Smoothie

    Of the most popular smoothie flavors out there, strawberry banana seems to be the leader and has been sitting pretty at the top of the pedestal for years. Though you may be someone who gravitates towards that flavor, this summer is the perfect time to shake things up a little and try something new. Once you learn how to make a mango smoothie you’ll be able to indulge in something else that differs from your favorite choice but is still something that’s equally delicious.

    Mango Smoothie Recipe

    What You’ll Need

    • 1 cup of chopped mango
    • 1/2 cup of ice
    • 1/2 cup of skim milk
    • 1/4 cup of plain yogurt
    • 2 tablespoons of honey or agave
    • 2 teaspoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice

    Steps

    • Place all of the ingredients in a blender.
    • Blend until everything is smooth and pureed.
    • Serve immediately.

    Additional Ingredients

    Just like with your go-to smoothie recipes, you can mix things up a little bit by adding in a bunch of different fruit to change up the flavor. So, if you’re not someone who’s particularly fond of the taste of lemon, you can swap it out and mix in a cup of banana or chopped watermelon. This way you’ll be able to enjoy a multitude of flavors without any of the hassle.

    If you’re wondering how to make a mango smoothie that’s safe for vegans, all you need to do is remove the yogurt and milk and add another cup of chopped mango. Of course, you can still add whichever fruit you’d like and still keep it vegan safe!
