    • 1 bag of large marshmallows
    • 1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 1 box of graham crackers
    • optional: liquid smoke

    Instructions

    Step #1: Preheat Oven

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Step #2: Captivating Cast Iron

Pour the chocolate into the skillet, spreading evenly along the bottom. Place marshmallows standing up on top of chocolate layer.

Optional: For extra outdoorsy smoky flavor, add a few drops of liquid smoke to a small mixing bowl. Dip marshmallow in the liquid before putting in skillet.

    Step #3: Divine Dipping

Bake skillet for about 7 minutes, until tops of marshmallows are golden brown. Carefully remove from oven, and place on trivet for serving. Use graham crackers as dippers for an authentic S’mores experience.

    Alternative Options

We love substituting Nutella spread or dark chocolate chips for the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Another option is to mix Reese’s peanut butter cups in with the chocolate chips for some peanut buttery goodness. We even like adding chopped bananas for a fresh fruit element!

Bonus: another great way to use your cast iron skillet for sweets is our Cast Iron Skillet Cookie.
