Krispy Kreme is commemorating its 81st birthday by gifting fans with some special treats. This Friday, July 27th, the donut chain is unveiling a new glazed offering and selling a dozen donuts for the low price of $1.
Behold! The Glazed Confetti Donut! Though it might look like their delicious classic donut, the Glazed Confetti donut boasts birthday cake-flavored dough and rainbow sprinkles. This limited edition donut will make its debut on Friday, July 27th as well, and we can’t wait.
While the new donut is exciting — and appropriate for a birthday celebration — Krispy Kreme is also giving fans the chance to purchase a dozen of their tasty treats for only $1. All you have to do is purchase a dozen donuts — of any kind — at the regular price and you get a dozen glazed for only a buck. This amazing deal is only available on Friday, so don’t miss out on getting your donut fix in.
Apart from turning 81 and celebrating in style, Krispy Kreme has been busy this past year. The donut chain released a slew of seasonal varieties this year alone, including Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed, Reese’s Peanut Butter, Hershey’s Gold, Gingerbread Glazed, Lemon Glazed, Chocolate Glazed, Blueberry Glazed, and Nutter Butter Cookie Twist and Chips Ahoy! Cookie.
They also released a special green donut in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. There’s no telling what the company will release in the coming year, but its new Glazed Confetti Doughnut is certainly a good start.
Fans can get their dozen donuts for a $1 this Friday, July 27 at a participating Krispy Kreme. The company’s limited-time treat, Glazed Confetti Doughnut, will be available until the following Thursday.
