Kim K is 38 years old, has had children, and is in law school pursuing a career while supporting her family. Despite all of this, Kim still has a fantastic body. People have speculated their own theories on how Kim K has maintained her body image throughout the years, but sources revealed Kim Kardashian’s diet and workout regime. Why Obsess Over Her Diet?
By being in the spotlight almost constantly, Kim Kardashian is used to having scrutinizing eyes on her at all times. But while on the beach in Mexico in 2017, paparazzi snagged an unflattering picture that put things into perspective. Even though she’s a celebrity, she’s just like the rest of us. Seeing a bad picture of yourself is never a good feeling. We battle our own insecurities and deal with body image and Kim Kardashian is no different. At the time the picture was taken, Kim had been recovering from two surgeries on her uterus and had not been to the gym in roughly 12 weeks due to that.
Since her pregnancy difficulties, Kim has had multiple medical complications. When the paparazzi snapped the picture, they began tearing her apart. Kim expressed her frustration over the pictures, saying, “People body shame you and criticize you” when a picture is less than perfect.
The pictures, however, then motivated Kim to get into the best shape of her life. Her new diet and workout regime seem to be influencing trends and setting standards for “body goals.” It gives her sisters’ revenge bodies a run for their money!

Being under the watchful eye can lead to a lot of pressure for a celebrity’s image. Many celebrities turn to plastic surgery in order to keep their youthful and desirable look. It has often been rumored that Kim Kardashian had quite a few plastic surgeries to maintain her curvy figure and beauty features, but Kim has her own methods.
For instance, after having previously mentioned one of her biggest insecurities was her nose, many believe Kim had a nose job done to make it appear smaller. Kim squashed rumors, claiming she embraces her “ethnic nose” and uses contour to help it appear smaller. Which isn’t false, she is a makeup icon and her contouring is often flawless.
When she was pregnant with her and Kanye’s daughter, North, Kim went through a lot of severe changes. Her pregnancy complications caused a lot of commotion in the media.
Throughout the pregnancy, Kim faced a lot of health scares, including placenta accreta. Placenta accreta is basically when a placenta grows so deeply into a woman’s uterus that it cannot be separated after the delivery. Giving birth proved to be a difficult and serious situation as well. After suffering from these medical complications, and gaining about 50 pounds from the pregnancy, Kim swore off going out in public until she got her post-baby body back.
Many people swore that Kim had to have gotten a lot of work done to achieve her post-baby body, but Kim claims to have buckled down and disciplined herself at the gym. Kim had another baby, Saint, but after facing more serious medical complications throughout the pregnancy, Kim went on to have two children through surrogates. Some people thought this was a way out of going through the bodily changes of pregnancy, but Kim Kardashian really did have a multitude of difficulties having her own children.
It is no secret that Kim K’s trademark is her famous behind. It is one of the first things people think of when they think of Kim Kardashian. People have long suspected Kim of having implants in order to get her rear to look the way it does now, claiming there is no way it is natural. In an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim publicly submitted an x-ray to prove that she hasn’t had implants. The rumors seemed to clear up a smidge, but that does not necessarily disclose other work that could have been done. No one knows the truth except for Kim!
Despite the debate of getting work done or not, Kim Kardashian has a disciplined workout routine and strict diet she follows to look the way she does.
What Is THE Kim Kardashian Diet?
The biggest key to the Kim Kardashian diet is clean eating and mean lifting. Essentially, Kim is on an altered version of the Keto diet which involves eating lots of good fats to curb hunger pangs – while cutting down on carbs. She also burns more calories than she intakes. But to break it down to a daily outlook, this is what Kim Kardashian typically eats within a day.

How Often Does She Work Out?
As previously mentioned, Kim Kardashian is disciplined on her workouts. She hired a trainer, bodybuilder Melissa Alcantara, and has worked hard to get to where she is now. Melissa is no soft-touch. If you follow Kim on Snapchat, you’ve probably seen Melissa putting her through her paces. And boy, is she committed. One of the first things she did as Kim’s personal trainer was to clean out the star’s pantry of anything unhealthy or overly processed. She works out six times a week for an hour and a half. The reality television star’s workout consists of a mixture of low-intensity internal training, weight training, and high-intensity interval training.
Back in September, Kim posted a video on Snapchat that revealed a circuit of:
- Hex headlift squats using a barbell weight bar
- Weighted power sleds
- Romanian deadlifts
- Seated leg presses
- Glute kickbacks on a weighted leg curl machine

Is Kim K’s Meal Plan Actually Attainable?
People try all sorts of methods to lose weight, but unfortunately not all of these ways are effective or safe. Taking diet pills or starving yourself are definitely not the way to go because you could end up putting yourself in danger. It is important to listen to your body throughout the process.
That being said, some women have dieted like the Kardashian icon for a month under the supervision of a nutritionist, and each were happy with her results for different reasons. Kim K’s meal plan is attainable, but it won’t show miracle results without the hard work and dedication. Those who have tried her diet have said their sugar cravings have drastically declined which is a kick start to a healthier lifestyle.
