Of course coffee pots are excellent in making coffee, but have you ever thought about trying to make other foods in it? We never thought to either until we saw these creative recipes! From pancakes to a full salmon meal, the possibilities are endless when it comes to using your coffee pot!
Hot Dogs
While cooking hot dogs in the microwave may seem easier, using a coffee maker is a little more creative. Simply run 6 to 8 cups of water through the coffee pot and let sit on the burner. Throw the hot dogs in and let them sit in the water until cooked.
Lasagna

Eggs
The burner of your coffee pot can act just like a skillet on a stove top! You can try your hand at any type of egg, from sunny side up to scrambled. Simply crack an egg on the burner and cook to your egg liking.
Chicken Wings
Wings are the perfect snack to go with a day filled with football. Instead of spending your time frying or baking them, you can relax and watch the game while your chicken wings are cooking away in the coffee pot. Simply put the wings and sauce in the coffee pot and let cook for about 2 and a half hours!
Poached Chicken
You probably won’t want to use your coffee pot for coffee again after putting raw chicken in it, but if you have one to spare, we say go for it. Pancakes
Of course making pancakes on the stove isn’t that hard, but try this creative way next time you make them for your family. By using the burner of the coffee pot, you’ll get perfectly rounded pancakes every time. Simply pour your favorite pancake batter onto the burner and cook like you would on a skillet.
Broccoli
Using your coffee pot to cook your broccoli, or any vegetable, creates a veggie that tastes like its been quickly steamed. Tender, but crunchy, you’ll have yummy vegetables in no time. Simply put the broccoli in the coffee pot, run water through the filter and cook until tender.
Salmon

Ramen
There are hundreds of ways to make Ramen noodles and we have another one for you to try. Instead of placing them in the microwave, use your coffee pot! Add the noodles to the coffee pot, put the spice packet where the coffee would go and run the right amount of water through the filter. Let cook for a little bit and you have Ramen noodle soup!
Oatmeal
Ditch the stove top or microwave and cook your oatmeal in your coffee pot next breakfast. It’s just as easy! Add your oatmeal to the coffee pot and run the appropriate amount of water through the filter. Let cook for a few minutes until the oatmeal is creamy! Add nuts, fruit or sugar for extra flavor.
Corn On The Cob
Why cook corn on the cob on the grill when you can make it in a coffee pot?! Simply add the corn to the coffee pot, run water through the filter and keep heated until the corn is tender.
Tea
Make tea with ease by using your coffee pot! Put water into the coffee maker like you would to make coffee. Choose your favorite flavor of tea and place in the filter. If using one tea bag you will need one cup of water. Turn the coffee pot on and let the tea trip into the pot like coffee! For a stronger tea, place the tea bags into the pot itself instead of in the filter.
Meatloaf

Vegetable Soup
Instead of spending hours making homemade soup in a crockpot, use a coffee maker instead! Simply add all your ingredients to the coffee pot and run water through the filter. Let the soup cook with the burner still on until the veggies are tender and the soup’s flavors are well combined.
Instant Soup
Or, you could just run hot water through your Keruig to make your favorite instant soup. How easy is that!?
Rice
Rice, or any grain for that matter, can be made in a coffee pot too! Put 1/2 cup of instant rice per person in the coffee maker. Run the right amount of water according to the rice box through the coffee maker and leave sitting for about 10 minutes.
Spaghetti
Just like Ramen noodles, you can make spaghetti too! Place your noodles in the coffee pot and run water through the filter. Let the noodles cook until tender. Once done, you could even heat up your sauce on the burner too! No pots, no problem.
