“George Clooney cut himself loose from a space station in order to save Sandra Bullock.
His velocity was zero relative to the station. He wouldn’t have ‘fallen’ and he wasn’t ‘pulling her down.'”
Bad Kid Names
“‘Albus Severus Potter’
That kid got bullied a lot and you know it.”
Someone Needs To Be Bonked
“The Star Trek Into Darkness scene where the doctor character just gets undressed. It’s so dumb because in the very next scene she is wearing the exact same clothes as she was before.
Why did she get undressed?
It definitely wasn’t to change, so who knows.”
Shia LaBeouf as Tarzan
“The Tarzan scene in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”
“Palpatine being alive. Not even considering my criticisms of the first two of that trilogy, him being alive completely ruins the story of the original six and the redemption of Anakin Skywalker.”
“When Indiana Jones jumped into that fridge to avoid a nuclear bomb strike.”
“The kiss between Sharon Carter and Captain America in Captain America: Civil War. Why did they kiss in the first place and why was it never addressed again?”
Raptor Dream Scenes
“The gymnastics scene in Jurassic Park the Lost World and then Raptor dream scene in Jurassic Park 3.”
‘She rescues him right back.’
Really? That’s the best you could do?”
Car Chase Editing
“Bad Boys 2.
The car chase in the countryside through the town/village. It was only a forty second car chase that was cut/clipped/edited poorly. If you watch it look how many times the driver side mirror on the H2 magically breaks and is re-attached only to break again and again.
I still enjoy the franchise. I just disliked that”
Nice One Disney
“The Rise of Skywalker.
The story between Rey and Kylo Ren was really interesting. You had two people on differing sides, with different stories, concerning their experience with the force too, constantly fighting nearly to death, but increasingly with kind of a shared burden, one being definitly an insane antagonist, but one who was pulled to the light side. Reverse Anakin, I liked that interpretation. I was really intrigued even in this movie by how human it seemed, but, most of all, how platonic. Many people got rather sibling vibes from them, and I would have found both of them really being such or just being force-brothers, again, sharing this burden and parting ways peacefully, really memorable.
And then they kissed. Furthermore, after all he’s put her through, she goes in for it.
I cannot forgive the screenwriters for the feeling seeing this gave me. It shifted their entire dynamic and ruined an otherwise, far as I can remember, really facinating story between two people. Plus, to me, promoted toxic romances alongside so many other series.”
“I had no expectations for Wonder Woman 1984, but the twenty minute olympics race thing in the beginning where she’s a kid almost made me turn off the movie.”
Are You Not Entertained?
“A guy at the stand in Gladiator. He had a camera and was wearing jeans. Man that guy was from the future.”
“Bears Gotta Eat”
“The last two minutes of the Snowpiercer movie. I love Chris Evans and this movie, but the appearance of the polar bear at the end of the movie makes absolutely no sense.
According to the story, the train has been running for fifteen years in an environment so cold that to hold one’s arm outside of the train causes it to flash freeze to the point where it can break off the body, and shatter on the floor of the train. How did a polar bear survive that environment for fifteen years? They can’t possibly hibernate that long. Bears gotta eat.
I get that we’re supposed to see the bear as a sign that a thaw is imminent and that survival is possible, but it just doesn’t make sense. Kills me every time.”
Good Going Disney
“Princess Leia flying through space.”
Techno Cave Raves
“The movie had its issues, but the techno cave rave in The Matrix: Reloaded was pretty terrible and cringe.”
“The butt-stuff scene at the end of Kingsman The Secret Service was completely unnecessary and really awkward and messed up an otherwise amazing film.”
