19. Top of the Stairs, aka “TOTS”, Virginia Tech
TOTS has karaoke and spirits every Tuesday night. Another plus is the option to carry their delicious BBQ to go. This bar has outdoor and indoor sections. 18. Lonnie’s Western Room, aka “Lonnie’s”, Vanderbilt University
Lonnie’s has been described not simply as a karaoke bar but as a “THE legendary karaoke bar”. Basically, Lonnie’s gives students an excuse to get a little too tipsy, throw their trepidations and pride to the wall, and belt out some songs.
17. Zuma Grill, Arizona State University
Zuma is infamous for its “Toxic Mondays”. Why toxic, you ask? Monday’s drink specials include a shot of vodka topped with red bull or a personal cocktail pitcher for only $10. Ah, so that’s why.
16. The Dixie Chicken, Texas A&M
Apparently the Dixie Chicken serves the most beer per square foot of any bar in America. Enough said. Oh, and did we mention it also has a live pet rattlesnake?

13. The TApp Room, Appalachian State University
The TApp Room sure boasts an impressive collection of craft beers. Impressively, most can be snagged for $2 a pop. We would definitely have a hard time finding a better deal. There’s no dance floor, but this is absolutely the place to go to enjoy a great beer in a chill atmosphere.
12. Kilroy’s on Kirkwood, Indiana University

10. Good Time Charley’s, University of Michigan
According to its website, Good Time Charley’s became a campus tradition the second it opened its doors and the first college students walked in. This claim doesn’t seem so far fetched, as students flock to this iconic bar praised for its rotating drink specials and delicious chili fries.
9. Bourbon House, University of Georgia
If going hard is your definition of fun, this bar is for you. Downstairs, you can opt in on a power hour, dance on tables, or swing dance and grind on the floor. Upstairs, you can enjoy a more low key night with a few games of pool and some cheap beer.

At KAM’s, the party is always wild. Be prepared to have an amazing night you may or may not remember.
3. Knight Library, University of Central Florida
This place is humungous. Boasting a sizable dance floor, 3 fully stocked bars, an outdoor patio and VIP sections, Knight Library is ready to party. As if this isn’t more than enough, the Library also contains darts, pong tables, and corn hole boards for those of us who prefer chill games to the all out rager.
2. Harry’s Chocolate Shop, Purdue
Rumor has it there are secret tunnels leading to this bar. Apparently it used to be a soda shop, and later, during prohibition, a speakeasy. This bar certainly holds an air of mystery to it.

The Boot was literally created for the broke college student, as it is home to the 50 cent drink night. Also, we can’t think of a more perfect location for a night out than New Orleans.
