Bone broth is gaining a ton of momentum in the health world; not only is it delicious, but it also offers a host of benefits, including boosting gut health, fighting inflammation, and providing nutrients including magnesium, calcium, potassium, amino acids, and collagen.
In New York City, renowned chef Marco Canora recently opened Brodo, the City’s first takeout window devoted solely to sippable bone broths. Canora is already well known as the owner of Hearth, which serves locally sourced ingredients prepared with an Italian influence. He hopes to see people walking the streets holding to-go coffee cups, sipping on broths because of the health benefits, because it tastes amazing, and because he feels it’s something we all need in our lives.
