It’s no secret that every October 31st Chipotle offers you the chance to get one of its signature burritos (renamed “Boorito” for Halloween) for only $3. Considering the amount you typically spend at Chipotle (extra guac, duh), you would do just about anything to score a burrito for only three bucks. Plus, we’re pretty sure a Chipotle burrito is the best way to start off a night trick-or-treating. You need some veggies right?
In the past, Chipotle has given away the $3 burritos to anyone who came in on Halloween dressed in a costume. However, this year is a little different. In addition to dressing up, you have to add a little something extra to your Halloween costume. According to a company press release, “Chipotle is asking Boorito participants to add an unnecessary addition to their costumes in order to redeem the $3 Boorito offer.”
An unnecessary addition? Hmmm, we guess you have to get a little creative with this one. Chipotle made this twist on the Boorito event in order to support the restaurant’s passion of offering the “highest quality ingredients versus the complex array of unnecessary additives and preservatives that are typically found in fast food.”
Although you may have to think a little outside the box and work a little harder for that $3 Boorito this year, we still think it’s definitely worth it. After all, what could be better than $3 Chipotle?! These girls love Chipotle burritos so much they even chose to dress up like them for Halloween, tinfoil and all.
