Ditch the basic and boring beer cooler this Halloween season and make this pumpkin cooler instead! It’ll fit right in with the party’s theme and you won’t have some big, bulky, blue cooler hanging around. Plus, what’s better than a cute pumpkin?! The answer is nothing.
First grab a pumpkin that’s about medium sized and more round rather than tall. To really get into the fall spirit, grab one from a local pumpkin patch instead of the grocery store
Next, draw a line all the way around the pumpkin about half way down from the stem. Cut along this line with a knife. Be careful not to cut yourself!
Scoop out all the insides of the pumpkin. You can bake the seeds for a snack for your party too! Make sure to scrape it clean because the last thing you want is stringy pumpkin guts on your beer.
The inside of your pumpkin should look like this (above) after you’ve scraped out all the seeds and pumpkin guts.
Next, spray the pumpkin with spray paint or decorate however you like. This demo uses gold, but you can use whatever color you want. Let your artistic skills shine!
Once the pumpkin is spray painted and dried completely, dump ice in it, put your beers in and drink up in true Halloween style!
