Ever since two ranchers snapped a grainy short film of a walking ape-man in 1967, North America has been entranced (or maybe eluded) by the mysterious cryptid known as Bigfoot. That grainy still is known today as the Patterson-Gimlin film and serves as the most iconic visual of the elusive sasquatch.
But that wasn’t the end of Bigfoot sightings. All across Washington State, Pennsylvania, and portions of Canada, hikers, enthusiasts, and outdoorsmen alike continue to spot the creature. Heck, in 2019 it was even revealed that the FBI put out a formal investigation on him back in 1976. So what is Bigfoot, fact or fiction? Or better yet, is seeing truly believing? Regardless, this batch of Bigfoot images is certainly some of the clearest photographs to date.

The Southwest Times published this image from a trail cam back in 2013. Many thought the image was of a bear until they noticed the creature’s elongated limbs.

Another BigFoot trail cam shot. Date, and location unknown.

This last picture is the most inconclusive but was taken in Oregon (2003).

Here’s a close-up of the same shot.
