Velma might’ve had a hard time seeing every time she lost her glasses, but we sure didn’t have that problem when it came to Linda Cardellini’s acting career.
Since the ‘Scooby-Doo’ movie, she has been in some impressive films such as: ‘Brokeback Mountain,’ ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron,’ and ‘The Curse Of La Llorona.’ And currently, she’s on Netflix’s hit TV Series, ‘Dead To Me’ where she plays ‘Judy Hale.’
She might be known as many things but to the ‘Scooby-Doo’ fans, she’ll always be our Velma.
Freddie Prinze Jr. as Fred
Compared to Cardellini’s career, it’s a real mystery what Freddie Prinze Jr. has been up to since we haven’t seen him much on the big screen. After his role as “Fred,” he took a step back from acting to focus more on his growing family. In 2002, he married his then-girlfriend and co-star, Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played “Daphne” in the movie. The couple now has two children.

Following a similar approach as her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., she too dialed back on acting to focus more on her marriage and family. Seems like she really was over this damsel in distress nonsense. However, she has been on a few TV series, playing in minor roles such as, ‘The Simpsons,’ ‘Robot Chicken,’ and ‘The Big Bang Theory.’
Matthew Lillard as Shaggy
Similar to Gellar’s acting career, Matthew Lillard also took on more minor TV roles since the movie. But unlike his fellow co-stars, he continued to play or in better words, ‘voice’ ‘Shaggy’ in numerous ‘Scooby-Doo’ TV series and even games.

Neil Fanning as Scooby-Doo
‘Scooby Doo, where are you?’ More like, Neil Fanning, where are you?
Yes, he is the man who voiced ‘Scooby-Doo’. Similar to Lillard, he continued to voice the character in TV series and games until 2004.
He then said his farewells to the franchise and became a stunt double. He might’ve said his farewells, but we haven’t yet. He will forever be our Scooby-Doo.
