When a parent never tells a child no, we are met with spoiled individuals with a lack of empathy for others and their feelings. At times, their emotions can get the better of them which leaves room for bullies and ill-mannered children. Here, people share the satisfying moment a bully got exactly what they deserved.
All stories have been edited for clarity.
Metal Head

“I grew up in a really small town where all the kids went to one school together. All through elementary school, this girl who lived down the street from me was huge bully. She was taller than most of the boys and would bully anybody she felt was beneath her. One day while riding the bus home from school, the girl was picking on this boy in my class for being albino.
The bully leaned over the back of her seat and yelled horrible things his face for the whole ride. She kept calling him names, making fun of his glasses, clothes, and everything she could point out about him. A few of us tried to get her to stop, but she was relentless. The poor boy just sat there, his face red as the occasional tear fell down his face. When the bus came to his stop, the boy slid to the end of the bench seat, calmly stood up and turned to her. Then faster than anybody could react, the did a full-arm swing and smacked the bully dead in the face with his metal lunch box. Then he just turned and slowly walked off the bus.
After that, the bully spent the next three months with varying degrees of black eyes as a result of the initial injury and subsequent surgeries to repair her nose. That was the last time she bullied anyone, and the best part of the whole story is that the boy never got in trouble for it.”

“Every summer I used to volunteer at the library. Last summer, a new family moved into the neighbor within walking distance to the library. The family consisted of four kids ranging in age from infant to about five years of age. There’s no easy way to say this, but those kids were the absolute worst. Their mother was so busy with the infant, that she never paid attention to the older kids. This mother would repeating their names over and over when she actually caught her kids doing something innappropriate
To add, the children were noisy and would not only tear up the children’s department, but would also leave toys and books scattered everywhere when they leave. I hated them with an incredible passion, especially because they came in and stayed for 2-4 hours a day. I am not exaggerating when I say they were not quiet for a single second during that time.
The only fond memory I have is of the eldest boy. He collected Skylanders, which he brought with him all the time and threw around at his brothers. One day, he left them behind, so I got to put them in Lost and Found. The toys stayed there for two months, before I ended up giving them to my nephew. This may sound harsh, but any longer and the toys would have ended up in the trash.
Two days after I gave them away, the boy’s mother came in looking for them. She could not hide her anger knowing that her kid lost ‘thirty dollars worth of toys!'”
That Girl

“When I was still in school, this girl named Corrina in my class who was BEYOND two-faced. She made sure we knew how rich her parents were by constantly bragging. She had a personality for every person in the class and she NEEDED to be liked by everyone. When she was with you she was your best friend, but when she wasn’t she would talk about you. If there was nothing to talk about, she would make stuff up.
One day in gym, one of the less popular students decided she were sick of her shit. We had co-ed gym with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders altogether. One of the girls waited until the gym teacher asked if we had any questions about the instructions he had just given us and she said something that made the mean girl squirm in her seat.
‘NO QUESTIONS. BUT IF YOU ARE IN THE GIRLS LOCKER ROOM WATCH OUT WHAT YOU TOUCH BECAUSE CORRINA DOESN’T WASH HER HANDS AFTER SHE USES THE BATHROOM.’
It humbled the hell out of Corrina. I can’t remember her ever being rude ever again. She lost friends and grabbed herself a reputation that day that I don’t think ever really went away. She was a gorgeous girl, but she had a very ugly attitude.”
Egg Them On

“A few years back, my buddy was riding his bike home from work when a truck started speeding toward him. Before he could react, the driver rolled down one of the windows and threw eggs at him. The truck was going at least sixty miles per hour, so you can imagine how much it hurt. They nearly knocked my friend off his bike.
As he continued riding his bike down the road, another car slowly approached from behind. My friend was so nervous that he didn’t even want to turn around, fearing the worst. As it turned out, the new car had seen the eggs being thrown and did a full circle to find my friend on his bike. The people in this car were husband and wife, and they passed him a note with the offending cars’ registration number.
The following morning, my friend called the local police and explained the situation. They asked, ‘What would you like us to do?’
My friend told them it would be a good idea to have a word with the driver because he could have easily fallen onto a busy road and been killed. My friend didn’t think the police sounded interested at all, so we promptly forgot about it and carried on with our day.
Well, later that afternoon, my friend had a few missed calls. None of us thought that it was the police. Eventually, my friend managed to answer a call. They had spoken to the registered keeper of the car, who happened to be the father of a boy who had just passed his driver’s test, and whom he bought his car to. He pleaded with the police not to take it further, and said that he would like to deal with the boy himself. I can’t remember the wording now, but we spent all afternoon after the call dreaming up exactly how things would pan out for the boy when he got home. How I would love to be a fly on the wall during that conversation. He never threw the egg, but I suspect there will be a series of phone calls getting all of the parents involved. I don’t think they’ll be doing it again.”
