We love easy breezy breakfast recipes, especially in the hectic summer months. Insert overnight oats, the plan ahead, quick food that will change your breakfast game forever. We have three delicious combinations for your first foray into overnight oats: Fantastic Fig, Berry Bliss, and Apple Pie! Read on for these killer recipes, sure to transform your weekday breakfasts.

Fantastic Fig

Figs add an exotic element to overnight oats. They pair especially well with mild and bright green grapes for this sweet stunner.

What You'll Need

  • mason jar with lid
  • measuring cups
  • cutting board
  • spoon
  • paring knife

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • handful of green grapes stems removed
  • 2-3 fresh figs
  • 1 tbsp fig butter

Instructions

Step #1: Overnight Soak

Combine all ingredients besides grapes and figs into a mason jar. Stir thoroughly, then twist to close lid. Let soak overnight in refrigerator.

Step #2: Fresh Fruit Topper

The following morning, stir once more. Then carefully quarter a couple figs. Add figs and grapes to top of overnight oats for a crisp and juicy garnish.

Step #3: Dig In!

Enjoy this exciting combination of textures and flavors before your morning commute. You can even substitute other milk options, and add 1 tsp of vanilla bean paste if you can't find vanilla flavor in the milk of your choosing.

Berry Bliss

We prefer raspberries for this classic variation, but any berry you have on hand will do. Enjoy our take on very berry overnight oats.

What You'll Need

  • mason jar with lid
  • measuring cups
  • muddler or spoon

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries, washed
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ¼ cup granola
  • ½ cup plain milk
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions

Step #1: Overnight Soak

Place milk, oats, half of the raspberries, and honey in mason jar. Muddle or mix until well combined and top with lid. Let soak overnight in refrigerator.

Step #2: Berry-licious

Remove from fridge, stir once more, then top with granola and remaining berries. It's vital to add the granola right before consumption, so it stays crunchy and doesn't get soggy.

Step #3: Enjoy!

Serve immediately for a sweet and nutritious breakfast.

Apple Pie

An apple a day keeps the doctor away with this indulgent version of overnight oats, inspired by a favorite pie recipe.

What You'll Need

Ingredients

  • one small apple (any mild red variety)
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 tbsp crushed walnuts
  • 1 tbsp applesauce
  • ½ tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • cinnamon stick (for garnish)

Instructions

Step #1: Overnight Soak

Mix applesauce, oats, milk, and spices in mason jar. Close lid, then let soak overnight in refrigerator.

Step #2: Amazing Apple

When you're ready to eat breakfast, carefully core and slice apple into wedges. Add walnuts, apple wedges, and cinnamon stick to top overnight oats.

Step #3: Eat It Up!
