It may not be your favorite thing to do, but you need a healthy dose of fruit and vegetables to keep yourself healthy and happy. If you get creative, ingesting vegetables becomes less of a chore and more part of a delicious meal. We’ve got just the thing you need to take your traditional cauliflower up a notch or two; whip up some buffalo cauliflower for the family!

    Easy Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

    Recipe

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup water
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
    • 2/3 cup buffalo sauce
    • 2 tablespoons butter

    Supplies

    • large bowl
    • wooden spoon
    • baking sheet
    • foil
    • cooking spray
    • medium bowl
    • whisk

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.

    2. In a large bowl, mix the water, flour, garlic powder, and salt and pepper together with a wooden spoon. Stir until everything is combined.

    3. Add the florets to the bowl and toss to coat them in the flour mixture.

    4. Once the florets are thoroughly coated, spread them over your baking sheet. Place them in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.

    5. As the florets are baking, combine the buffalo wing sauce and butter in a medium-sized bowl and whisk the ingredients together.

    6. After 20-25 minutes, remove the florets from the oven. Toss them in the hot sauce mixture until coated. Place them back in the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

    Tasty Side Dishes

Buffalo cauliflower is a yummy side dish all on its own, but you can still serve it with additional sides. A few great pairings for buffalo cauliflower are:

    • celery sticks
    • sliced or baby carrots
    • blue cheese dressing
    • ranch dressing

You can also add a few signature spices to your buffalo cauliflower. Sprinkle some herbs over the top to increase the flavor, or spice things up by adding a pinch of paprika or red chili flakes in with your flour mixture.

If you’re looking into full-on dinners you can cook alongside your buffalo cauliflower, you can always try:

    • chicken breasts
    • steak
    • salmon, plain or glazed with garlic and butter

Cauliflower doesn’t need to be that boring veggie at dinnertime. If you’re not too keen on mashing or steaming them, you can try your hand at buffalo cauliflower. The dish gives you a healthy option that’s still brimming with flavor.
