Preheat your oven to 350 degrees; spray a 9-by-13 inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
In a large pot, cook the pasta according to the directions on the package. (Noodles typically take 7-8 minutes before they’re finished.) Strain the cooked noodles in a colander and put back in the large pot.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil, beef, white onion, garlic, and salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the beef slightly browns.
Once the beef has browned, add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir constantly and mix well with a wooden spoon for 2-3 minutes. The mixture should slightly bubble.
As soon as the pasta is done, add the meat mixture into the pot with the noodles. Stir everything together. Once combined, spread everything evenly in the greased baking dish. Top with the shredded cheddar cheese.
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
