Recipe Notes
Do I Need To Mix The Cake Mix With The Butter?
There are a few methods on how peach cobbler with cake mix should be prepared. Both place canned peaches in the baking dish, followed by cake mix, then butter. Some recipes call for evenly distributed slices of cold butter or melted butter on top of the cake mix (without mixing). Either of these methods will work. But, we’ve found that sometimes, there will be some dry spots in the cake. Ultimately mixing the melted butter with the cake mix is not that tedious of a step for better results.
